The Emirates Jazz Trio brings together a wealth of performing experience with members from Australia and Canada now resident in fabulous Dubai. Playing a truly international repertoire which includes jazz standards, show tunes and popular music, the Trio delivers sophistication and style and will be sure to make the right impression for your event.

Years of professional experience have yielded performances by members of the trio in North America, Europe, Asia and Australasia in some of the world’s most renowned musical cities. Individually they have supported Harry Connick Junior and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, have performed with Kate Ceberano, Michel LeGrand, Dale Barlow, Bobby Shew, James Morrison, Don Burrows, and arranged music for Ben Folds.

The trio can be expanded to a quartet with the addition of saxophone or female vocalist. Alternatively it can be expanded to quintet with the addition of both. Performances are usually for up to three hours.

For small events the group can be almost totally acoustic when performance includes grand piano. Only the bass requires modest amplification in this setting. For larger events or when vocals are included, amplification needs to be considered to ensure all guests can experience a high degree of quality sound.

A space of 5.5 x 3 metres is usually required for the group although this can be reduced in some cases. Ideally this can be via a small riser (30cm) and should include some dedicated lighting (6-8 coloured ‘cans’).
