Juanita and Ashley formed Fingerprint in 1996, since then they have continued sharing their musical passion with the world. Their unique flavor is of Pacific Island incorporated into jazz, roots, blues and soul music.  From their hearts they play as one.  The two perform with a soulful passion rarely seen, an intimate vibe experienced by all types of audiences.

Their format leaves people baffled at how they can produce such a big sound ‘Live’ as two people.  Ashley sings and plays an L5 Gibson guitar with crystal-like accompaniment for beautiful ballads, tasteful swinging jazz and earthy driven blues.

He is armed with an RC 50 Loop Station, although none of the tasteful rhythms are pre-recorded as both Ashley and Juanita believe that music is of the mood, and moody moments are different every day, and so should be the music they produce live.

Juanita is blesses with a world class voice which captivates any audience (any where on earth), whilst playing the drums.  Whether she’s singing a raunchy blues, smooth jazz, or an emotional balled her soulful voice has a direct line to the heart of the audience.

This duo have lived and breathed music all their lives, they are both from musical families and it was inevitable that these two gifted people would be matched together by God himself.  Juanita is of New Zealand Maori descendant & Ashley is of Samoan/European descendant.
