Her debut album entitled “Sarah” was released in 2002 with hit single “Kesetiaan” topping the radio charts nationwide. She was crowned Best New Female Artiste at the APM 2003 (Anugerah Planet Muzik) and there was no stopping for Sarah when she bagged three awards at the AIM 2003 (Anugerah Industri Muzik) for Best New Artiste, Best Pop Album, and Album of the Year. Her second album entitled “Mimpi Pun Sama” was released. And at the AIM 2004, Sarah received nominations in the major categories for best vocal performance in an album (female) and best pop album. Her biggest task was then, to mark her 5th anniversary in the Malaysian music industry, to set up her own recording company, SR Productions. Under its banner, in 31 October 2004 she released her fourth studio album, “Siti Sarah”, which was received with rave reviews from the Malaysian public as well as neighboring countries. Sarah entered into the One in a Million (OIAM) TV reality show in 2007. Sarah took this opportunity to demonstrate how she had matured not only as a young woman but also her singing ability. This was a big risk for Sarah as at the previous OIAM prominent singers had been eliminated prior to the finale, causing much debate with coverage by all local newspapers and was a hot topic of debate discussed heavily online. Sarah was voted through to the top 3 finale and gained a huge amount of respect from her fans and followers as well as the wider public. During the competition, Sarah showed off her singing capabilities with the R&B genre, infusing the music with her own style and no one captured the essence of her style better than one of the One in a Million judges, Paul Moss, where he stated that Sarah was being judged at a higher standard than the other competitors and that Sarah was able to rearrange the songs and make them her own . The purpose of entering the competition was to compete and at the same time gain wide exposure and demonstrate how she has matured. We believe the fans and followers were pleasantly surprised at the development in her vocals and mastery of the English songs, not to mention the very experienced manner in which she captivated and involved the audiences at the numerous Road Shows during the TV OIAM production. Sarah certainly has come of age and we are now in the process of taking advantage of the outcome of the competition and keeping the momentum going. SR Productions believes that Siti Sarah is seen by all ages and cultures as the face of Malaysia and would add value to any event that you are involved with. Siti Sarah is now available for show engagements -Road shows / Corporate shows, events etc.
