TIM HASSALL

Tim Hassal formed his first band "Ryde" at the age of 12  in New Zealand, and has been playing ever since. Avid traveller, he finds his inspiration in the people he meets and the places he has been, but also in artists such as Feist, Buddy Guy, Jimmi Hendrix, Devendra Banhart, Ryan Adams, Jackie Green, Bob Dylan, Citizen Cope, Watermelon Slim, CCR, The Stones, John Martyn, Dave Van Ronk, Willie Singerman, Jesse Smith and Mark Kaufman.

In Dubai, he has played at the Dubai Jazz Festival in 2003 and more recently played in Dubai’s original music scene gigs and the radio Open Mic Show at Dubai 92 and was Dubai Lime Artist of the Month in December 2007.

In early 2008, Tim Hassal has toured the UK.
